Cricket Formats Explained
Understanding the different cricket formats makes betting decisions much easier. Each format offers different betting opportunities and strategies.
T20
20 overs per team. A match typically finishes in 3 hours. In-play betting is most exciting in this fast-paced format. Over-by-over runs, wickets, and toss betting markets are popular.
ODI (One-Day)
50 overs per team. A match lasts around 7 to 8 hours. A batsman's century, partnerships, and mid-match momentum shifts are important betting points here.
Test
A five-day match with unlimited overs per innings. Long-term strategy and pitch conditions play a major role in betting. You will find markets for innings winner, series result, and top run-scorer.
The Hundred
A new format from England — just 100 balls per team. In this very fast-paced format the match can turn on any single ball, which makes live betting uniquely exciting.
Major Cricket Leagues
BPL
Bangladesh Premier League — the biggest domestic T20 cricket event in the country.
IPL
Indian Premier League — the most-watched T20 league in the world.
BBL
Big Bash League — Australia's summer T20 league.
PSL
Pakistan Super League — another top T20 league in South Asia.
How a Betting Exchange Works
In a traditional sportsbook you bet against the betting site — the site sets the odds and keeps a margin. A betting exchange works differently. Here you bet directly against other players — the site only acts as an intermediary and takes a small commission.
There are two main roles in an exchange: Back (betting for — if you think a team will win) and Lay (betting against — if you think a team will not win). Odds are formed from players' offers, not from a bookmaker.
| Back (For) | Lay (Against) |
|---|---|
| You are betting that Bangladesh will win | You are betting that Bangladesh will not win |
| Familiar, like regular betting | You yourself play the role of the bookmaker |
| If it wins, you profit according to the odds | You win if the team loses; you pay out if it wins |
Example (in ৳)
Suppose in a hypothetical Bangladesh vs India match the Back odds on Bangladesh are 2.5. You Back ৳1,000. If Bangladesh wins you receive ৳2,500 (profit ৳1,500). If they do not win you lose ৳1,000. On the Lay side, the player who bet in the opposite direction on that same match wins if Bangladesh does not win.
The commission is generally a small percentage on winning profit — much lower than a traditional bookmaker's margin. In an exchange, odds fluctuate according to market liquidity.
Payment Methods
The minimum for both deposit and withdrawal is ৳500. Withdrawal time is 30 minutes to 3 hours.
| Method | Best For | How to Deposit | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|
| bKash | All Bangladeshi users | Send Money or Payment via bKash app or USSD code | No extra fee |
| Nagad | Those who prefer the postal department's wallet | Use the Payment option in the Nagad app | No extra fee |
| Rocket | Dutch-Bangla Bank customers and DBBL cardholders | Pay via Rocket app or USSD *322# | No extra fee |
| Upay | UCB Bank customers and new wallet users | Select Merchant Payment in the Upay app | No extra fee |

Local Card Games
Popular card games from Bangladesh and South Asia are now online. Familiar rules, fresh excitement.
Teen Patti
Played with three cards. Each player starts with a boot and takes turns raising bets on the best hand. Starting tip: Play blind first — the bet amount stays lower. Can be played both against a live dealer and with other players.
Andar Bahar
One card is placed in the middle and you have to bet on whether the matching card will appear on Andar (left) or Bahar (right). Starting tip: Start with small bets to get a feel for the dealer's pace. This is a pure luck game and is played with a live dealer.
Callbreak
A 52-card deck is divided among four players. In each round, you must decide how many tricks you will win and then win exactly that many. Starting tip: Spades are always trump — if you have more spades in hand, bid higher. This is played against other players.
Ludo / Rummy
Online Ludo uses a Random Number Generator instead of dice. In Rummy, you must complete your hand by forming sets and sequences. Starting tip: In Rummy, try to form a pure sequence first. Both games are played against other players.
